My three primary interests for the Blog are: 1. Real Estate, since I am a commercial and residential real estate broker; 2. World Travel, with trips to China, Italy, Egypt and Ethiopia between April 2007 and November 2008; 3. Christianity, since I have been Christian since baptism at 3 weeks old and I’m now old enough to reflect on this life as temporary and interested in mine and others’ everlasting life hereafter.
So, you might be thinking, these are three odd topics to group together in one blog. What do real estate, world travel and Christianity have in common? Well, real estate is focused on where you (and your family) live today. World travel is experiencing and exploring where other people of the world are living or lived. Christainity is focused on where you will live for eternity….and there are only two major destinations! For those of you who don’t believe in heaven or hell, if you “guess” right, no loss. But if you are wrong, you will be wrong forever and the result could be pretty nasty. You can’t lose if you “believe”, so I hope you will at least explore the possibility.
Enjoy postings of any of these categories and please add your comments.
I will be adding blog posts that touch on the state of the real estate market in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, my home, the industry in general and issues that affect homeowners or commercial real estate investors/owners.
You’ll see pictures from some of the recent trips I mentioned above and some of the sights or locations that you may not have thought about visiting or you should think about visiting on one of your trips (like Bellagio, Sienna or Assissi in italy). I’ll go back further in time to trips I’ve made to Indonesia (Bali and Jakarta), Hong Kong, England, France, Mexico, Brazil or Puerto Rico. I’ll even cover some great US locations like the Grand Canyon, Colorado, California, Texas, Vegas or my hometown, Cincinnati.
Some of the Christian and religious books I have been reading have some pretty interesting perspectives or little known facts and I will share those. One I am reading right now is called “Heaven” by Randy Alcorn and is quite fascinating and enlightening on what Heaven will be like, all based on the scriptures.
