Bank of England - Lowest Interest Rates Since King William III

The Bank of England lowered their interest rate to 1.5%…lowest since 1694.

In a historic move, the Bank of England lowered their benchmark interest
rate by .50% to 1.5%.  Now get this - the benchmark rate has NEVER been this
low since King William III founded the central bank in 1694 to fund a war
